ABOUT THE COACH

Bigger than fitness.
Built on purpose.

My "Why"

Fitness has always been a part of my life. It started with a love for working out and staying in shape, but it quickly became something deeper. From a young age, people came to me for help with their performance, and I found myself stepping into a leadership role — coaching teammates, encouraging the kid in the back of the line, being the one who showed up early and stayed late.

As I grew older, that passion turned into purpose. I realized that helping others — whether elite athletes or someone walking into a gym for the very first time — wasn't just something I enjoyed. It was something I was called to do.

Growing up without my father, I was fortunate to have strong coaches and mentors who stepped in. They didn't just shape me as an athlete. They shaped me as a man. They gave me direction, discipline, and belief in myself. In many ways, they changed the entire course of my life.

I carry that with me every day. What I do now is bigger than fitness. It's about giving back. It's about being the same source of guidance, structure, and motivation for others — especially the next generation of young athletes who deserve a coach who actually shows up.

The Athlete Behind The Coach

I'm a former college running back with over 30 years in football. I've competed at the high school, collegiate, semi-pro, and Arena level. That background isn't a résumé line — it's the lens I see every client through. I know what it takes to build strength, improve performance, and stay resilient at every stage of an athletic journey, because I've lived every stage of it.

When you train with me, you're not getting a textbook trainer running you through a generic circuit. You're getting someone who has been in the trenches — physically, mentally, emotionally — and knows the difference between hard work and busywork.

My Coaching Philosophy

There is no one-size-fits-all approach in my gym. Every program I create is built around the human being in front of me — your body, your goals, your schedule, your history. Whether you're a complete beginner, a former athlete trying to get back, or a high-level competitor chasing a specific number, the plan is yours.

I believe progress is built in tiny, daily wins — not heroic, painful, one-week sprints that leave you broken. I believe form beats ego. I believe rest is part of the program. I believe nutrition is the quietest superpower in fitness. I believe coaching the human is just as important as coaching the sets and reps.

What I Refuse To Do

I won't sell you a quick fix. I won't put a 50-year-old beginner through a college football program. I won't promise you a six-pack in 30 days. I won't pretend nutrition is optional. I won't text you "great session!" and disappear — every client gets real attention, real feedback, and real accountability.

Who This Is For

You. Honestly. I work with kids as young as 8 and adults well into their 60s. Beginners, returners, athletes, parents, professionals, and people who just want to feel good in their body again. If you're willing to show up and put in the work, you belong here.
